Yes, Banita Sandhu has made her Hollywood debut with Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton season 3 where he essays the role of the most eligible lady Miss Malhotra. For the unversed, this is not the first time where Bridgerton has featured Indian-origin stars. In season 2, Simone Ashley was the protagonist playing the role of Kate Sharma in the series. Born Simone Ashwini Pillai to Indian Tamil parents Latha and Gunasekharan Pillai, Ashley is from Camberley, Surrey. Moreover, her onscreen sister Edwina Sharma also played an Indian girl Charithra Surya Chandran who is the daughter of a Tamil Indian. She was born in Scotland. Well, this time, we see Indian actress Banita in an American historical romance television series.

Talking about Bridgerton season 3, the new show focuses on the love story of Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Feathrington (Nicola Coughlan). The first season was about Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne Bridgerton’s (Phoebe Dynevor) love story. The second one is around Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kathani “Kate”, Viscountess Bridgerton (Simone Ashley.)
